The HSE policy establishes and communicates the company's policy concerning the protection of the health and safety of the company's employees and persons affected by the company's operation as follows:
1. Nitsuani employees are the company's most important asset. Preventing occupational injuries, illnesses, and protection of the environment is of such consequence that management will provide all the facilities and support reasonably required to ensure success. Management accepts HSE responsibility for its effectiveness and improvement to ensuring safe, environmentally responsible working conditions
2. The company policies and objectives on employees or on an individual employee will be monitor and HSE performance measure to ensure that we are continually meeting objectives and improving the system
3. Nitsuani HSE management system policies hold every individual employee responsible for working safely, in an environmentally responsible manner. HSE responsibilities have the same priority, as operational decisions and they priority, as operational decisions and they importance. Supervisors are responsible for ensuring that all operations are performed with the utmost regard for the health and safety of personnel and protection of the environment. Rather than focusing on accident statistics, the company focuses primarily on the identification of hazards, the assessment of risks and the control of those risks to prevent accidents from happening. The difference between an accident and a near miss is often just plain luck. The company ensures that all HSE incidents are reported and thoroughly investigated to prevent recurring.
6. The management provides information and guidance on safety issues related to the purchase and use of work equipment, work permits, isolated work area, confined-space entry, and transport of hazardous materials, driver safety and other key safety issues. An effective management of change process is also an integral part of employee safety. The occupational health section covers information and guidance on medical services, personnel exposure to physical, chemical and biological hazards and specific issues such as the safe handling of operations tools. Nitsuani HSE management developed these procedures to eliminate or minimize the HSE risks associated with our operational processes.
7. The HSE management system has a complete system of checks and
balance in incident reporting, documentation and investigation. This also
covers information management and records. The employee learns from such
records to prevent recurrence of injuries and environmental incidents.
8. The HSE Management System provides a system of assessment,
monitoring and continuous improvement. The information obtained during
assessments is developed action for improving performance. The
effectiveness of the action plans documented in subsequent management
reports and regular management reviews.
